Identity systems / asset management / brand control

Brand Kit and Style Guide Design in Alaska.

A logo is one file. A usable brand kit is the system that helps every person represent a business consistently, from a new employee to a sign shop. FOURAK creates practical identity documentation and organized assets for Alaska organizations.

01 / Who this is for

A design system that has a job to do.

Growing businesses, multi-location operations, nonprofits, breweries, contractors and internal communications teams that need consistent graphics across many channels.

The problem we solve

A team often inherits conflicting PNGs, outdated color codes, unlicensed fonts and a logo that only works on white. Different vendors rebuild the same artwork repeatedly, and every new brochure looks like a separate brand.

A usable kit reduces avoidable revisions and gives designers, staff and vendors a shared reference. We choose formats that match realistic workflows instead of filling a folder with assets no one can identify.

02 / Our approach

Built for the real-world workflow.

01 / PRODUCTION

Start with the approved identity

We audit available artwork, identify the primary mark and determine which secondary lockups, small-scale symbols and light/dark variants are actually necessary. Existing logo artwork may need redrawing or cleanup; full rebranding is a separate scope.

02 / PRODUCTION

Codify type, color and spacing

The guide explains color roles and usable values for screen and print, typography hierarchy, minimum logo size, clear space and incorrect examples. We specify licensed fonts or practical alternatives; we do not distribute commercial font files without permission.

03 / PRODUCTION

Package files by use case

Digital staff may need SVG or PNG, while printers may request vector PDF or EPS. We organize files into named folders and include a readme describing formats, use cases and version history. The agreement sets source-file ownership and any licensed elements.

04 / PRODUCTION

Design a kit the team will actually use

We can include stationery, email-signature guidance, social profile treatments, presentation masters and simple templates. The final kit should make ordinary decisions easy without requiring a designer to approve every post.

03 / Scope

What your design package can include

We tailor deliverables to the intended use and confirm file formats, concepts, rounds and ownership in writing. This list describes available scope items, not an all-inclusive fixed-price bundle.

  • Primary, secondary and compact identity variations as scoped
  • Full-color, single-color, dark and reversed assets where appropriate
  • Brand palette with digital and print color definitions
  • Typography, hierarchy, logo clear-space and minimum-size guidance
  • Usage examples for signs, presentations and social channels
  • Organized export folders, usage PDF and handoff notes

05 / Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Is a brand kit the same as a new logo?

Not necessarily. A kit can formalize an existing good mark, or accompany a newly designed identity. The scope distinguishes logo creation from guidelines and exports.

Can our printer and website developer use the kit?

Yes. The deliverables can include vector files, color definitions and digital assets suited to both, subject to each vendor's exact requirements.

Do we own the source files?

Ownership and licensing of final approved deliverables, source files and third-party assets are defined in the written proposal. We document that before the project begins.
