Define the project
We agree on the deliverables, scope, project contacts, schedule, and pricing in writing before work begins.
FOURAK / GRAPHIC DESIGN
Here's how we keep graphic design projects organized, on schedule, and aligned with your goals, from the first conversation to the final files.
01 / THE WORKFLOW
We agree on the deliverables, scope, project contacts, schedule, and pricing in writing before work begins.
You provide approved wording, logos, brand guidelines, and usable high-resolution photos or graphics. Need help creating content? We can quote that separately.
We confirm the wording, page order, and overall direction before detailed design begins. This keeps revisions focused.
We share a proof and collect one consolidated set of comments from your designated contact per revision round.
Once the final proof is approved and the balance is paid, we supply the agreed production-ready files.
02 / BEFORE WE BEGIN
A signed proposal and the agreed advance payment are required before production starts. Many smaller design projects are paid in full upfront; larger projects may use milestone payments as outlined in the proposal.
We need final approved text and suitable high-resolution images before the production schedule starts. Missing materials or delayed approvals can shift delivery dates. If you need writing or photography, ask us to include it in the scope.
Unless your proposal says otherwise, we include two rounds of consolidated revisions within the agreed scope. New directions, major changes to approved content, or additional rounds are quoted and approved before extra work begins.
Choose one decision-maker to collect comments, resolve conflicting feedback, and approve each milestone. We use clearly marked proofs and written approvals to keep everyone on the same page.
Work outside the original scope is discussed before we proceed. Approved additional hourly work is billed at our standard rate of $250/hour unless a separate written quote applies.
You'll receive the deliverables and file formats listed in your proposal after final approval and payment. Source files, third-party licensing, and usage rights are specified in the individual agreement.
03 / WORKING TOGETHER
We believe the best results come from good communication, complete materials, and timely decisions on both sides. These guidelines help us spend more time designing and less time revisiting unanswered questions.
