// Alaska static-first web systems

Own your website. Not a recurring dependency.

A static website is a way to deliver the public portion of a business site as prebuilt pages. It is not a trick for eliminating every bill. FOURAK uses Astro and a documented GitHub-to-Cloudflare workflow where it fits, keeping dynamic systems separate and the handover understandable.

Each guide addresses different workflows rather than repeating a generic sales paragraph with a new city name. We design for actual business needs, not keyword-only pages.

Central Kenai Peninsula

Kenai static website design

A Kenai guide or contractor should not need a complicated website server to publish trips, show previous work, answer questions, and convert inquiries. The public pages can be delivered as prebuilt files; booking, payments and customer information can remain in dedicated services.

Kachemak Bay

Homer static website design

In Homer, visitors may discover a lodge, gallery or charter business months before they travel. A static-first site makes the public experience fast and easy to maintain while keeping bookings, sales and customer data in services designed for them.

Resurrection Bay

Seward static website design

Seward companies often serve people moving between search results, cruise and train arrivals, hotels and the harbor. The site should answer practical questions quickly without depending on a database to render every service page.

Southcentral Alaska

Anchorage static website design

An Anchorage organization may need accessible public information, staff workflows, careers, long-form resources and secure portals. A static-first architecture keeps the public website separate from dynamic business functions instead of making one platform do everything.

What can be prebuilt?

Service descriptions, project galleries, location information, resource libraries and well-structured articles are strong candidates for static HTML. They can be published by rebuilding when an approved change lands in the source or content system.

This can reduce the production CMS attack surface and the need for live database requests on routine public pages. Load time still depends on image size, JavaScript, geographic distance, third-party scripts and the visitor's network.

What must remain live?

Booking availability, payment processing, customer accounts, live inventory and private records require real software services. We connect them intentionally, document recurring costs and verify who owns the account.

A static-first build is not a promise of perfect speed, invulnerability, zero maintenance or automatic SEO rankings. It is a technical foundation that can make operational ownership easier.

The business should be able to leave with its website.

Clarify repository access, domain renewal, DNS, deployment, licenses and data custody in the original agreement. Our approach prioritizes a clear handover and written separation of one-time development, provider subscriptions and optional support.
